La Pavoni Lever Pressure Gauge (Chrome) - 453040 From  £25.20

My 1984 La Pavoni Professional needed a replacement for a leaky pressure gauge. This one works great, looks great, and the machine is showing proper pressure readings again!

Necessary, I use it with europiccola.
However, the water vapor table and meter indications that are determined from the water temperature do not match.
When the water temperature is 120 ℃, the meter points at 1.5 bar.
There is no problem at all in use.

I had bought a La Pavoni Europiccola 10 years ago and wish I could add a pressure gauge, I could not find how to do it until The Espresso Shop!
I bought this gauge + La Pavoni Europiccola Stainless Steel Pressure Gauge Adapter Nut M11 and with a bit of teflon tape it works perfectly!

Perfect fit, doesn't obstruct other controls. Very useful to know pressure for the perfect brew.

Quality replacement for my ageing and slightly battered original. Great phone advice from James as I didn't realise there is an adapter between this and the receiving knuckle. Tight to get apart but that was expected after 19 years of use.

Attached using some plumbers' tape, works fine. Europiccola looks better with it !

I bought this pressure gauge for my trusty EuroPiccola; I just applied some teflon tape on the thread on both the nut adapter and the pressure gauge and that was it. Based on my experience you don't need to buy other items to install the pressure gauge on the EuroPiccola, just these two.

Fitted easily if you include the appropriate 11/10 mm adapter sold separately which replaces the brass blank above the site glass.
You may need to insert an additional washer/spacer to enable the gauge to be fully forward facing due to thread positioning,don’t forget PTFE sealing tape on the adapter and gauge threads
In my opinion these machines should be factory fitted with a pressure gauge as a safety measure to help prevent accidental steam pressure release.
