I love the wooden handle. Main reason I ordered a bottomless portafilter was so I have more insight on how I am doing with my grinding, distributing, tamping... basically helping me learning to make a good Espresso shot. So far I am doing surprisingly good. Almost no spitting and spurting, haha. Oh yes and it fits the Gaggia Classic Pro perfectly!

Looks great and easy to clean with exposed basket. Fits Gaggia Classic perfectly. You need to prepare your cake with care I use distribution tool and then tamp. Pucks are looking good and my shots ave improved. If you don’t take care in preparation then it can get messy!

I received this tremendous bottomless portafilter quickly! Speedy overseas shipping! The wood handle is smooth; however, the color is slightly lighter than what I would like, but no big deal. It fits my Gaggia Pro perfectly! It seems like I need to grind a little finer when dialing in a new roast. It performs excellent and Iwill be using this as my default portafilter

Love this piece of equipment. Heavy duty and flawlessly manufactured. And the walnut handle adds an elegance that I display proudly.

This is a nice bit of it but sadly didn’t work for me, am using it with an 18g vst basket but it sprays all around the cup and machine as well as going into the cup. I plan on trying with a 16g basket at some point but this may not get as much use as I’d hoped. Hopefully it will work for others with a different basket, if it does then let us all know as I really want to use it :-)

You get a spoiler for your car to go faster, you buy the latest Klone pedal as it is sounding better with your guitar, you buy the latest mobile phone because it is better, you buy a 4K monitor where you edit excel files because your eyes worth it, and finally you buy this bottomless portafilter because you want to be the cool kid when friends come over with their latest mobile phones to shoot a video of the pouring. It is magical to watch and definitely more crema. Also guys at the shop back the products very well, they sent me a replacement handle as the previous one cracked.

Nice Handle, unfortunately I own a Grimmac not a Gaggia. I have to stop ordering things online drunk.

(Kinda works on a Grimmac, close enough to get me by until I get the correct model in).
