Fits perfect and it only takes 2 minutes to fit if you have the right tools.

In the past I've bought new portafilter holders because the handle has cracked or broken away completely. These handles are a godsend, I've bought a couple to resurrect a couple of old ones.
Previously I haven't been able to remove the original fixing bolt because it has rusted in but normally with a bit of patience they can be removed. Before trying to remove the original bolt its best to cut away as much of the old handle as possible with a small hacksaw to expose the original bolt.

Had been looking for one of these for ages for our 15 year old Classic. Had repaired the original with epoxy several times. Ordered a replacement bolt at the same time. Fits perfectly. Bear in mind that the handle is held on by nut inside. Remove the blanking end with a sharp object then use a box spanner or socket to remove the bolt.

Great replacement, Classic is over ten years old and the handle had just started to crack, this one fits nicely and feels just like the original ... but notbwobbly any more

Original part cracked after many years use. Replacement is exactly the same and came with the cover for the end. I fitted this using a stainless steel setscrew in place of the original bright zinc plated item to prevent corrosion.

The handle on my Gaggia Classic portafilter had snapped so I was pleased to find this reasonably priced replacement. Quick delivery so I was back in the espresso making business with minimum delay.
