It makes a better coffee compared to the standard pressurised basket that comes with the Gaggia Classic. Combined with a decent grinder you can really fine tune the coffee just the way you like it.

I got a used Gaggia Classic that was missing the standard double basket. I bought this item to replace the missing one. It is good quality and low price. As far as I can tell, it is identical to the one that normally came with the older Classics, and it works perfectly.
