I agree with one of the other reviewers that the quality improvement in terms of taste is small. However, for some reason it appears to me that it is much easier to brew a good cup of coffee than with the standard filter: I seldomly have the les-than-good coffee when distracted by the kids.

I bought this couple of weeks ago and was delivered really fast. It was a gamble since i didn't know will it fit into my portafilter. By measurement it was a fit. I own Beko CEP5152B espresso machine, so if anyone owns it and want to get rid of the pressurized basket you can definitely buy this one.The extraction is much better, you can go for much finer grind. I needed some time to adjust the grind and dial in for the shots but after couple of weeks playing with it, now it is perfect and worth the effort. Cheers

I already own an IMS filter basket, as well as Pavoni and (probably) Pavoni-compatible filter baskets. None of them is the same, which shows when making coffee with the same grind. Now, with IMS, I finally have two filter baskets that are exactly the same for which I can use the same grind to get the same taste of coffee

I ordered this filter for my DeLonghi Dedica, assuming from the dimensions that it would fit (not that anyone claimed it would!). Well, it does fit the portafilter, but the domed rim means the portafilter does not then fit into the group head. I see some people have vandalised it to make it fit - a sad way to treat what is obviously a quality product. I went for a return instead, for which The Espresso Shop were most helpful - hence 5 stars.

A good replacement for the basket that came with the naked portafilter I bought. Similar in quality to the original basket that comes with a La Pavoni.

Staff were helpful in responding to my inquiry. Slight improvement in extraction over stock basket.

I don't own a la Pavoni but this basket fits the Beko CEP5152b machine perfectly. I had a cheap and cheerful unpressurised basket before this but I do think the coffee from this is slightly nicer. My only problem is, I had to buy a custom made 51.7mm tamper to fit it properly, as my 51mm one left untamped coffee around the edges. I can't speak for la Pavoni owners, perhaps the la Pavoni tamper is a better fit, or maybe this is a pitfall of buying IMS? Either way, I'm happy with my purchase.
