To replace, or add to my other Pavoni Europiccola that is over 40 years old and is currently being refurbished, this new one is quite different: it has a temperature cut off, which I have to get used to. The coffee holder is larger, the boiler cap is plastic rather than metal. The machine is quieter. If you are going to buy this machine to replace or sit alongside an old one they you will have te re-learn how to make coffe. Coffee still tastes good though!
