The Old plastic plate from the bottom of my La Pavoni had cracked up, so it was a simple replacement and it's great

hi, I'm after a rubber (most likely!) base plate for my 1964 La Pavoni that I've just restored (using parts I bought off you over xmass) Problem is that my other La Pavoni (mid 70ies) has a rubber and not hard plastic base plate that just stretches and fits over the base-no hole to screw the base from the top (drip tray) or under it. So Q, what do I do regarding the older one with the aluminum base? Doubt the hard plastic one you stock fits. Any ideas? cheers Vassilis

Hi Vassilis The old rubber base plate went out of production 40 years ago. I have not heard of any replacement. The plastic base plates will not fit your machine. If I were you I would source a sheet of heavy rubber to sit the machine on when using. Kind regards Steve
