Hi I am servicing the group of my Europiccola dating from 1990. The groove at the bottom of the group seems to be square and the gasket in the kit I bought from you a while ago (part 82) is round in cross section. On testing the serviced machine there is an escape of hot water horizontally from the junction between the group and the collector, so I suspect the seal is not mating well with the top of the collector, which is also round in section. I have ordered a new service kit from you for the old group but this only specifies machines back to 1990. Is mine potentially older and if so - do you stock the filter holder gasket I will need? Thanks

Hi Peter All Pavoni lever machines up to the year 2000 use old group kits with the round part 82. I have spoken with the Pavoni service engineer and he has not come across a problem with old group machines, there is no alternative part 82. All I can say is make sure everything is clean, put gasket 82 around the shower screen, part 81 and push them up together. When the portafilter is put onto the machine it compresses the seal and no water can escape. Kind regards
