I bought this part because my 20 year old La Pavoni Europiccola vacuum safety valve was leaking. However, after replacing the part, the fault remained. After investigation I found that this was because the pressure switch was not working, seemingly due to limescale build-up. I cleaned the interior of the switch and soaked in vinegar for a time, which resolved the issue.
