Good time to replace the now funky(dead band range expanding) +10 y/o Mater XP110. 1/2 the price of any USA vendor. 1st purchase from The Espresso Shop. Even with overseas shipping cost and delivery times I consider this purchase a high value.

Regarding the PressureStat. Durable with simple maintenance and using water with 5 grains of hardness or less. Maintenance is simple. Keep the pstat feed tube from the boiler free of any mineral build up. Only the 3rd pstat for the MCal since '03. Averaging over 1200 shots pulled per year

Decades ago ran a HX/E61 vibe pump machine. Water was "untreated" at ~8grains of hardness. Never bothered to clear the PStat feed tube. Use was similar to the MCal. The pstats were lasting ~1year.
