I have used a Gaggia Cubika with its original standard double basket for years. I've struggled to get really good espresso due lack of even fineness of ground beans. Most supermarket "espresso" ground coffee is too coa**e for this basket. This pressurised basket takes the criticality of fineness away and allows a reasonable shot of espresso from supermarket "espresso" ground coffee.

I live in the USA and the espresso maker part came to us quicker than US mail. A perfect OEM replacement part
