First impression from first shot : Much different to a standard basket.

Flow rate is much higher which would mean a need for a finer grind/ higher dose.

Taste is good. First shot was quite short and higher volume, (18.5 grams, 22 seconds, 44 grams in cup), but had much better clarity and lower acidity than any shot I've made with the standard basket.

Very clean pucks come out of it in comparison. My standard expobar double gives fairly soupy pucks.


I would imagine that you need a very tight grind to get a good extraction with a 16 gram dose though. If you prefer lower doses and don't have a very consistent grinder get the smaller one.
