My original single basket fits with the spring clip in the stock porta filter, but this basket is 0.5mm larger in diameter. The quality is fine, but it's annoying to use without the clip in place. I suppose the sprint clip is not the standard configuration for most pre-millennium machines, but this is worth mentioning for those that have the spring clip groove and utilize it.

Compared to the double basket that came with my late 1980s La Pavoni Pro, this one is slightly deeper, which makes it easy to get a larger dose without hitting the shower screen. The downside it must have a narrower lip as it does not lock into the porta filter like the original. This one tends to pop out more when I whack it on the knock box. Id buy this one again tho as I can get more coffee and still have more head room when I lock it in

This filter fits my pre-millennium bronze/brass finish La Pavoni Europiccola and is 100% fine, but note that it does bottom-out in my portafilter and sits about 1mm high as a result. It doesn't seem to affect anything mechanically though (i.e. coupling into the group head). Very pleased overall, as this basket holds another few ounces of grounds than the original basket.

I only had the simple basket while buying my La Pavoni Europiccola, great thing to find the double size easily on this shop where they also provide numerous other parts and accessories ! Thank you the espresso shop !

It may not make any difference to the coffee, but to my eye, this is a better quality basket compared to others I have, in particular, the definition and finish of the holes around the perimeter. I like that!!

Fits my old group pre-millennium Europiccola perfectly and hold enough coffee to produce a double shot of good-flavoured coffee. Very pleased with the excellent price and fast dispatch.
