If I am replacing an older brass bass element, do I need the modern, shorter bolts? or can I reuse the existing?
The Espresso Shop Replies:

Hi Michael
Use a hacksaw and cut the bolts a bit shorter, or buy ones

I accidentally boiled my 1997 Europiccola La Pavoni dry. The switch lights up however it no longer heats. Do I need to replace this element and #435059 switch? Anything else I will need?
The Espresso Shop Replies:

Hi Leisa
If you have a safety cut-out you need to check if that has blown before replacing the element. If you find the element has blown then you will need to also replace the element seal, the switch should be ok.
