Expobar Bottomless Portafilter Complete 14g - 75003015 From  £57.60

I ordered this to see if my recent purchase of a coffee leveler has improved my espresso (it has!).
It fits great and is fun to watch. It came with a tripple basket, and I generally just want a double (and have adjusted my leveler to the right tamp for a double) so my double basket does not sit at the bottom of the portafilter. On the next bag of beans (cheaper than I am using now) I might dial in the leveler for the triple basket.

I own a Semi-auto Salavtore Espresso Machine with an E-61 grouphead. I really wanted to buy a portafilter from Salvatore as the stock was so nice. However at $95.00 I just couldn't bring myself to buy it considering this one was $26.81.

I contacted tech support to verify this would fit my machine and with their confirmation I bought it. Well I can tell you this, the quality is as good or maybe even better than my stock Salvatore. It's heavy, well machined, the finish is flawless and it fits like a glove. I would suggest buying a couple 1mm spacers just in case you need them. They will help you adjust the final position of the handle once seated. If it's too fat to the right you can add a spacer. Turned out i didn't need them , but at $1.00 each iot was not big deal to have them just in case.

The only thing I would have preferred would have been a double basket in-lieu-of the triple. I never asked ask, but it might be worth it to see if they'd which them out for you if you are like me and would never use the triple. Even with that said, I saved over $60.00 with this purchase, so not using the triple basket is no big deal at all, and who knows, the desire might hit me one day and I'll have it ;-)

Product arrived as expected. Worked great out of the box and arrived actually a day early :)

Not as perfect of a fit as the one that came with the machine but I'm happy with it nonetheless.
