Pulling (I actually push down) a shot with the Pavoni is always fun, but you are a little blind as to what pressure you are actually generating and exerting on the coffee puck. This device makes it so easy to see the pressure generated and then repeat the process on a later pull (push). I think it's great. Also, it is very well made. The handle and bracket is much better quality than the original Pavoni.
