Item exactly as described & fitted my Gaggia Baby perfectly.

Bought this as an add-on to other purchases in case it was needed to get a good seal. Old seal had hardened, was a bit crumbly, and seemed stuck to metal, and I wasn't sure if it would be a problem in getting it out cleanly (it's not that easy to access), so as as the old one still sealed OK, I left it in place. The new one is now a spare in case old seal does fail. Gave 5 stars as looks the business, and I'm sure it will work fine if need be.

Should have changed this years ago and the old seal was a pig to remove - had to dig it out in bits! The new one fitted easily and now the filter holder needs SO much less pressure to seal and even the coffee seems to be better!

Seems to work as well as a new rubber gasket and now I don't have the concerns of it degrading

Bought to replace original seal which had plasticised (which the silicone will never do) and which had to be dug out in chunks! This, along with a new stainless steel boiler plate (also an upgrade from the original alloy plate, which now looks like it has been buried in a peat bog since the Iron Age), has transformed the feel and performance of my trusty Gaggia Classic. Highly recommended.

Does the job

Part received promptly. Replaced worn gasket as part of routine maintenance. Job worth doing as machine has been seeing much increased use due to home working!

But it's a red one. And equally as good as the black ones. But the real USP of The Espresso Shop is The Martin Family. Their next single is eagerly awaited.
