Gaggia Commercial Shower Plate Holder ø 58.3x14.5mm - WGA16G1002 From  £28.20

Does what it says on the packet, a bit overkill for the home scene, but I feel fancier after it’s installation. Great, even water flow.

I have the OEM shower plate holder, and the brass shower plate holder. Both of those have 4 holes for water to escape.

I also bought this one to try, thinking the 6 holes would make for a more even flow of water.

It turns out that one of the 6 holes in this shower plate holder lines up with the jet stream of water from the grouphead on the left side of the machine.

This seems to cause the left side of the water stream to have a stronger jet stream and pressure, causing uneven flow and some channeling.

Good solid quality, but the position of the holes don't work well with the Gaggia Classic.
