Delivered as promised, and works great on my Gaggia Classic. Spreads the water flow out better, and the holes don't seem to allow coffee granules to be sucked back into the machine. Perfect. Lovely tasting coffee too!

excellent shower plate for gaggia classic. much better distribution than the OEM plate. And if you are drilling out a seized shower plate screw, as i was, you are going to need a new plate (unless you are much better at it than I am). so get this one.

Together with the Gaggia Brass Shower Plate Holder, that I bought together, my Gaggia Classic has improved my coffee at a higher quality.

Expensive compared to the Gaggia original shower screen but it seems to flow better and so far hasn't clogged up. Combined with a heavy brass shower screen holder our Gaggia Classic is making the best coffee it ever has. I hesitated at the price compared to the original item but it should last longer, I certainly don't regret getting it and it is a very worthwhile upgrade.

Fits perfectly and works well

bought in conjunction with a brass shower plate holder. Struggled to get it to fit as it would not sit properly in the recess in the shower block.
Upon close examination it had two very small protrusions on the outside diameter that were just enough to stop the screen sitting completely flat on the block.
I dressed these off using an orbital sander and it fitted perfectly as it should.

One star removed for this as the quality control ought to be better for the price. Apart from that its a decent upgrade from the standard screen.

Can i taste the difference, probably not but its a nice bit of bling and whats wrong with that.

Ok, with the original shower plate on a classic, you can tighten the screw all day long and it's fine. Don't do that with this one, you'll knacker it. Gently screw it into the holder and watch it flex. Don't need huge torque, performs much better than the original but a note about its delicate nature would be good.
